Jamie began clogging at the age of 12. At the age of 16, he formed his own club. Also at the age of 16, he joined and became one of the youngest FCC Instructors. 

He has taught at 23 FCC State Conventions. He has not missed one convention since joining.  He also teaches at Pow Wow, La Belle, Jacksonville, Tallahassee, and Daytona. 

He has also taught at the National Convention in Atlanta, Nashville, Orlando, twice in Las Vegas, at the Spring Fling, and at the Georgia State Convention, plus others.

He has an accomplished competition team which has been together since 1990. They have won many awards, including three time Florida State Champions, two time Overall Grand Champion Team and in Maggie Valley, NC, Junior Olympic Overall Grand Champion team in two events.

Jamie  was twice named the Caller of the Year, as well as being named to the ACHF All American Team in 1994 and to the Team of the Millennium in 2000.

He enjoys teaching children through seniors and promotes clogging wherever he travels.
